"Embracing Nature, Walking in Health" – JWGB's Spring Outing Event in 2023 Successfully Concludes!

On the morning of April 23rd, JWGB colleagues gathered at Juanyuan Village in Wangping Town, Mentougou District, west of Beijing, for the spring outing event. The village is located along the Wangping Ancient Road, and the nearby Xiluo Slope Village houses an ancient residence from the Yuan Dynasty, believed to be the former home of the legendary Chinese military general, Ma Zhichang. The mountains to the west of Beijing are collectively known as the Western Mountains, rich in Wujin, or black gold – coal. Since the Yuan and Ming dynasties, the residents of Beijing have used coal for fuel. Coupled with the local production of stone materials, the firing of glazed tiles here is renowned throughout Beijing.

The event adopted a group activity format, where participants were divided into teams, and the first team to reach the mountaintop would be declared the winner. Under the warm sun and the vibrant atmosphere of spring, everyone enthusiastically embarked on the mountain climbing journey. The Western Mountains scenic area is filled with lush greenery, serene bamboo forests, and murmuring streams, creating a picturesque scene. As they enjoyed the beautiful scenery along the way, the participants ascended the mountain, following the winding path towards the Jianmen Peak. Along the journey, there were frequent stops to capture moments with smartphones, leaving behind memories of this exciting experience. Despite the rugged mountain roads, participants supported and encouraged each other, with laughter echoing through the mountains.

Throughout the mountain climbing process, all JWGB employees got close to nature, admired the beauty of the surroundings, and relaxed both physically and mentally. This event further promoted mutual communication and support among colleagues during collective activities. Through mutual assistance and unwavering perseverance, they successfully reached the mountaintop. Many expressed their determination to contribute with full spirit to their future work. As Youth Day approaches, they look forward to contributing more youthful energy to the company.
