The project has passed “Technical Identification”

April 20, 2010, China Association for Instrumental Analysis organizes the experts holding the Technical appraise at the Holiday Inn. The technical appraisal is for Beijing JWGB’s project of  "high-performance nitrogen adsorption surface area and pore size analyzer"

Guofan Jin Tsinghua Academician is the director of this appraisal. The Secretary-General of China Association for Instrumental Analysis Yuying Zhang also attends the appraisal, and other authoritative experts in precision instruments industry, physical and chemical analysis, such as Professor Shunchang Wang, Beijing Institute of Technology Professor Ruonong Fu, Beijing Iron and Steel Research Institute Professor Rongze Hu, Professor Liu Xiyao Yanshan Petrochemical Research Institute, Professor Zheng Shuilin China University of Mining.

JWGB passed the identification smoothly.  It is appraised by the experts highly. The project is led by Professor Jiaxiang Zhong Technical Team. They take efforts over the 10 years for the scientific research and technological achievements. Beijing JWGB will take the opportunity to enhance the capability of independent innovation in the first place, and strive to make greater improvements of the instrument performances. Zhejiang University Published Papers using JWGB’s Test Data

Title: Visible-light CO2 photocatalytic reduction performance of ball-flower-like Bi2WO6 synthesized without organic precursor: effect of post-calcination and water vapor



The crystal phase and composition of as-prepared catalysts wereanalyzed using with an X-ray diffractometer (X’Pert PRO, PANa-lytical Co., Japan) with Cu K _ irradiation. Field emission scanningelectron microscopy (FE-SEM) images were recorded to study themorphology of the samples with a scanning electron microscope(SIRION-100, FEI Co., USA). The specific surface areas were deter-mined with a static adsorption instrument (JW-BK 132F, Beijing JWGB Sci & Tech Co., China) by the Brunauer–Emmett–Teller (BET)method and the pore distribution curves were obtained by the BJH desorption method.

JWGB will attend the Seventh World Congress on Particle Technology

On May 19, 2014, the field of particle detection industry event - the Seventh World Congress on Particle (WCPT-7) will be starting at the Beijing International Convention Center. The conference hosted by the Chinese Society of particles, Chinese Academy of Sciences Institute of Process Engineering, Division Vice President, Chinese Academy of particles Society president Li Jinghai, chaired the meeting. The theme of this session of the congress is New paradigm of particle science and technology. The meeting participants are expected to reach more than 1,000 people.

JWGB analyzer was awarded the “Chinese Good instruments”

"Chinese good instruments" selection event was organized by China Instrument Industry Associationt, and is hosting it; it aimed at reversing the users’ prejudices of domestic scientific instruments, and support a number of outstanding scientific instruments and enterprises, promote the development of domestic equipments; promoteChina-made outstanding scientific instruments, allowing more users to use of high-quality domestic equipment, to provide customers with reliable and authoritative scientific instruments procurement guidelines, to enhance the competitiveness ofChinese industry.


"Domestic good instrument" activity based on the in one principle "the instrument is really good that most users say good". It has a total of five steps, declaration, preliminary review, the questionnaire collection, user investigation, and publication of results. Beijing JWGB’s analyzer JW-BK132F surface area and pore size analyzer is appraised as the good instrument in the technical performance and sales services aspects by most customers.


The instrument is easy to operate, with a wide testing range (0.35-500nm), repeatability is fine, accuracy is high, user-friendly design, and many fine features; for the instrument's stability and reliability, our customers have been unanimously approved.

What are the analysis differences between the microporous and the mesoporous or macroporous?

Different hardware:

Microporous (0.35-0.7nm) accurate analysis requires two-stage turbo molecular pump. And nitrogen relative pressure P / P0 is able to reach up to 10-7_10-8. At the same time, it needs small-scale, high-precision pressure sensor (10 torr, 1 torr or 0.1 torr) of fair use. Mesoporous, macroporous pore size analysis, only a mechanical pump and 1000 torr pressure sensors can be realized the accurate analysis.




Different software:

Microporous analysis, a theoretical model is used HK, SF, and DFT methods. Mesoporous, macroporous size analysis; the theoretical model is used BJH method, etc.

How nitrogen adsorption measured pore size distribution?

Nitrogen can be absorbed into the pores. From the adsorption regularity, when the relative pressure of nitrogen is greater than 0.4, the nitrogen gas generated in the suction hole becomes condensed liquid nitrogen, and adsorption is greatly increased. As the Microporous, it can be show capillary condensationphenomenon at a lower pressure. For the macroporous, they will need to be filled with liquid nitrogen at a higher pressure. Capillary condensation pressure and Pore is in line with the Kelvin equation.


The pore size is divided by several stages. We can measure adsorption isotherm, the adsorption volume for each incremental change, and the calculated volume corresponding to the pore size. The pore volume is calculated with variation, i.e., pore size distribution.
